You realize of course, just to 'try' another igntion switch one does not have go through the whole pull-the-steering-wheel-remove-ignition-lock-assembly . You just pop the new switch onto the wires ... and see if that fixes your problem. If it does ..THEN you go to all the work of actually installing the new one properly.

well.. pop your old ign switch back on ! it takes 15 seconds.. see if that helps. Faulty new switch is not likely of course, but never do the whole installation until you know you need to. Pretty logical I'd say. S.
