Also, it looks like those are Yakima feet. It might be handy if you can
let us know what model they are so that people can use that info to
search craigslist/ebay.
I hadn't really considered it before but it seems like that's a huge
plus for yakima. Having the the feet accept round bars would seem to
open up a world of possibility in alternatives.
Has anyone done a similar hack for the thule? I'd be very interested in
low-cost 72" bars!
