Don't know if their rate is too high; I don't often use a mechanic. Given that their work appears good (so far), and that they've been pretty reliable, $90/hour doesn't seem unreasonable. And, as per my original comment, maybe raising the rates came with the new location. But.....

Raising the rate 2x in 4 months seems odd. Like is this a normal business practice? This is why I'm asking about this.
