re: prop shaft vibration.

I read a thread on thesamba regarding U joint replacement. There was mention of 'whacking' the heck out of said parts during the R&R process.

Could shaft vibration be (in part) due to methods used to replace the U joints? i.e. could driving out the parts with a big (you know) hammer et al slightly damage the yoke enough to cause an imbalance?

No disrespect to anyone intended. Just curious. Seems to me that by now, this wear item would have been replaced at least once on any given Syncro.
