Merry Christmas!
Was reading topic about Fire! and mentions of insurance. I discovered to my dismay that in some states (Kansas being one) that if you are struck by an uninsured motorist it falls under your COLLISION coverage even though you were not at fault. Luckily this was the first time I had collision coverage - never have needed it before or since - and had a $1000 deductible. You might want to check with your insurance about this or discover that you have NO coverage.
