I had replaced the under-sink plumbing once with stock stuff from GoWesty or BusDepot. The flexible drain tube was splitting again and I decided to go a different route. I put a sheet of plywood or masonite on the bottom++, after reinforcing the drain connection at the floor. No more raised floor=more space. Then I got some good hose at my local hardware and ran it straight down, or straighter. No more right-angle bends. I wouldn't ever go back to stock. Pictures at http://jones.colorado.edu/VW/SinkDrain ++ painted Westy grey, or maybe it's Westy gray, I don't remember. Richard |
