Had a '72 powder blue Jaguar XKE convertible with the V-12 engine with bumps on the hood (space for four strombergs) and a manual tranny. Loved that car. Wifey at the time accused me of loving to rub the bumps on that car more than hers. But it was murder on maintenance. And expensive. There was never any readily available parts for maintenance. Seemed like everything had to come from England. Times change. Finally had to let it go. Sold it for $7200 in 1980.
