Twenty five years ago, after a very hateful divorce and having to start over again. I bought a piece of land with a 40 X 40 shop building on it. It had a restroom and a small office. Having little money, no income, and not knowing anyone, I decided to live in the shop until I could get on my feet. I pulled the only asset allowed me by my wife's lawyer, "My Westy" in the back corner of the shop. Popped the top and "camped" for almost nine months. I've heard of cold water flats, but never one you had to start once a week to keep the juices flowing. This takes "cold water flat" to a new definition. I think I could have moved out sooner, but I began to like it! I got out of the trap, without the cheese, and learned a great lesson in how to rough it all in one lesson! Howard |
