Borrowed a buddy of mines Cheby to pick up some VW parts one time . It was your run o the mill small block . Running fine and just died ,would not Re start . Spark plug had a dead short . Pulled the wire once we figured it out and found a plug for it later and it purred like a kitten again . That id the one and only time I have seen a plug die .
