it's not the best. figuring you mean the common # 4 small american style hose clamp.

what is correct is a screw bandclamp...just like the ones that were on there.

what I suggest, is buy the right clamps...........one vendorsells them in stainless I think even .. and ask the guy to install them in place of the elcheapo's he/they put on.

I'd rather even have the orginal ones if they're not too rustedover those sharp-edge ones. scott
