Ice (IMO) is the biggest problem, I've long felt 4wd gave me a far
better chance of getting out of the ditch by myself after I found the
ice... I don't recall having the 86 syncro slide into the ditch, all
that means is I got lucky on the ice those 6 winters or I don't
remember when it slid off the road.
