I think that YMMV, it has receded into memory, but I believe that I had to
wire up a new adapter (provided by Crutchfield) when switching from Sony
Brand to Dual.
Incidentally the Dual gave me fits until I realized that it drew a third
of an amp no matter what, so I decided to put my old 10 disc changer dash
switch back into play. (the fog light slot) This guy has no remote, so I
just deal with it.
