Start at the sensor and work your way forward. It is common for the wire to disconnect or break or for the sensor to go bad. The low pressure sensor is the one between the pushrod tubes drivers side. There should be a two wire connector left front of the engine compartment you can use to test the sensors and the wiring going forward.

Dennis, And I still can't type on this Windows 8 Phone! ________________________________ From: mehammons<mailto:mehammons@GMAIL.COM> Sent: ‎1/‎16/‎2013 9:36 AM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM<mailto:vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Subject: Dash Oil Light

I've been reading for a while and appreciate all the info folks are sharing!

The red oil indicator light in my 86 weekender does not come on when I start my van. All the other lights are working. Before I dissect it any suggestions?
