hi.. stud not bolt actually. you're lucky if an inch is sticking out.

personally my first attempt would involve gentle heating and a vice grips.. or a 'real' stud removal tool...though the diameter of the stud is smallish for one of those and there's not much room around the stud for the tool probably. if you see an automotive tool truck I'd see what they have for a stud removal tool.

drilling and taping is hardly and option with the engine assembled. or 'barely.' I'd sure start treating it with penetrating oil a lot right away. and I have had luck with a spray can of juice that freezes things .

did you make sure the nuts were smoothturning on the studs before assembling things ? and do you think your torque wrench is fairly accurate ?

this is about the last thing you ever want to happen with a wbxr engine. I've spent hours getting a nut off that seemed too stuck on the stud.

might also inspect the bottoms of all the studs for corrosion .. incase others are ready to break also.
