Thanks for that. Almost laughed when I read "- rear hatch drain holes at bottom" but then recalled the scratching noises I heard under or near my head (head above engine) at a campout nearly 2 years ago. Thought I was dreaming. How on earth do they get in those drain holes? Only when hatch open? (i.e. when using a hatch prop to keep hatch open a few inches?) Not sure if this is an issue with the WBX crowd, but seeing as I converted from air cooled to water cooled, to add to the list..... - hole where heater hoses pass through body? Maybe that rubber piece wears out? I never got around to anything beyond a quick application of duct tape to the gapping "air cooled" vent hole just above the shifter. It is now being addressed!
