technically speaking waterboxer engines do not have an 'oil pan'. they do have a sump though ..built into the engine block. in this case it was well understood , no problem about 'oil pan' .. what I am seeing constantly is changing of terms .. 'making up new words' .. an announcer at the Super Bowl talked about 'going for the Touch' .. for the first time I have ever heard thnat in my whole life..'touchdown' being about the most holy word in football after all. the guy couldn't say 'touchdown'' .. we knew he meant touchdown ..but there is also 'touchback' .. I believe tThis trend is due to the small too-easy communication devices.. and I see constantly where one has to 'fill in' figuring out what people really mean. Drun shame I think. And I *Love* a clever turn of words ! .. as long as they are understandable. People are getting dumberfor sure, or lazier. wish I could say it's all good.
