I don't think anybody replied to this message. Nobody loves you. So, feeling bad, I will give you some info, though not exactly what you asked for.

I thought I had a Vanagon steel wheel sans tire, but I was wrong. The wheel I have has a 195/75/14 tire on it, and that weighs 35.6 lbs.

Maybe the following data I do have will shed some light: 14in VW MK2 Golf/Jetta steel wheel weighs 18.4 lbs, no tire or wheel weights. Same rim with a Firestone FR380 185/65/14 tire- 34.5 lbs. So my guess is the 14in Vanagon steelie weighs about 18-20lbs.

Some other data written on my paper in case anybody is interested: 14in aluminum MK1 GTI wheel- 16lbs. 14in "teardrop" 16V wheel- 17.4lbs. 14in Audi Ronal R8(not the supercar) rim- 14.9lbs.

The tire on the Vanagon rim is rotten, and I may have it dismounted soon. If that happens, I will report back with the exact weight.

So I am being lazy here . I don't want to climb in the attic and pull one down . How much does a stock 14" steel wheel weigh ? I need to send one and am guessing that it weighs about 25Lbs .
