Scott, before you close the thread, why not weigh one of your wheels and report back to the list to verify Mike's data?

I have at least 8 bare 14 inch steel vanagonwheels( plus two kinds of scales at least, ) that I could grab and weigh in a second. People that are decent to me get all the help I can give them with their vanagons.
