I get massive heat shrink tubing from electrical supply houses. Something for 0000 wire guage would work, and it's not expensive, but you might need two sizes together depending on the diameter drop to the wires.

I'm surprised how much I use this stuff, it covers up all sorts of ugliness.

Inserting a (possibly shaped) spacer block and then heat-shrinking the terminals to the outside of it ought to help. Whipping the outside with waxed thread or lacing cord would also give a rigid support without having to find a piece of huge shrink tubing.
