Hi Neil,

The Pico connectors are kinda crappy. These Tyco/AMP terminals are just like what the factory used. The part numbers I reference are the Tyco/AMP part #. You should be able to find a supplier in Canada that has the same stuff if you look around a little bit.

Here is a good (and very affordable) ratcheting crimper that does both crimps at the same time. Mine lasted for several thousand crimps before it failed. http://www.amazon.com/Crimper-Ratcheted-non-insulated-barrel-terminals/dp/B002PIA85M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1360398007&sr=8-1&keywords=open+barrel+crimper

If you want to get a nice crimper with multiple dies, this one works well: http://www.amazon.com/Tool-Aid-18920-Ratcheting-Terminal/dp/B0002STTTI/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1360398007&sr=8-5&keywords=open+barrel+crimper

While you are spending money, grab a good wire stripper if you don't already have one: http://www.amazon.com/Ideal-Industries-Stripmaster-Wire-Stripper/dp/B000RFSWF8/ref=sr_1_27?ie=UTF8&qid=1360399083&sr=8-27&keywords=wire+stripper

That's some of the stuff I use to make my relays https://sites.google.com/site/vanagonheadlightrelays/. I'm sure the same gear will work very well for you.

Hi all.

This may also apply to Pico US, but for Pico Canada, these locking type push on connectors:
