I am in communication with Patrik in Sweden to try to get an original harness for the extra pump. Thought it would be easier to replicate what VW did rather than starting from scratch. It would make sense then to use a different end connector do a more contemporary pump such as those from Touregs and Audi A4 & A6 headlight washers can be used.

Here's what Patrik had to say about the wiring:

I am in communication with Patrik in Sweden. He is trying to locate an original harness for me for the extra pump. He says this:

"There is an original relay that is to the windshield washer pump name J 31 in Haynes book. When this relay affects then the extra relay to the headlight washers affects in same time ( name J 39 in Hanyes book ). That then get power the headlight washers pump V11 in Haynes book."

Unfortunately, I do not have the correct Haynes manual to use as reference.:-(
