That NLA early diesel shroud was plastic and mates with the early diesel all metal radiator, neither one waterboxer compatible.

The waterboxer metal fan shrouds came in 2 versions for the US market. The fan blades only came in 305mm diameter but the motors are a different diameter with different mounting bolt pattern and that is why there are 2 versions of the wbx shrouds.

There is a 500 watt motor with a larger diameter fan blade was for turbo diesel models but not for the US market and the metal front floor of the van was structurally different on models with the larger fan blade assembly.

That 443 959 455 E - 500 watt should show a 352mm not 325mm blade and is for Audi models like 1987 Audi 5000 cars.
