You guys are not familiar with gimballed stoves and drink holders for sailboats ?

Unless this is something 'more' ..there's nothing new or unique about a two axis gimbal system. That they use the word 'gyro' with the product. that implies a full time spinning disc .. if it's powered and uses that technology ..fine . then 'gyro' is appropriate. otherwise it appears to me to be an ordinary two-axis gimballed mount.

Been on another planet for a while ? or am Imissing some informationand it's more than the common thing I think it is ?

about leveling the van .. there's an iphone app for that ! and lots of travel trailers and RV's have small level mounts on their outside corners.
