Hi, My copy of Bentley says 37 ft lbs for those head nuts, page 15.29. I don't think that taking them from wherethey, and have been there for years , even stuck, to see ifthey'll turn more to the torque spec isn't a very valid test ....In my mind they should be moving up from say ...30ft lbs to 37.

You should be able to get that barrel loose ..lotsof penetrating oil.. pry boths sides with a back and forth tilting action .. numerous applications of penetrating oil. Kroil in the orange spary can is considered the best one ...PB being the next best one , IMO.

you'll get it. I've never used a torch for heat there, just never had too. 15 years ay .....I get nervous when wbxr heads have been on a really long time .. things tend to corrodedor get stuck .
