I got the ez awning from bd like it,the only down side was the clips to the rain gutter. They would come unattached if it was breezy, I can understand that having an 8'x11' sail on the side catching the wind! I made up a pair of mounts using 1" id bushings and 1.5" long 1" wide and 1/2" thick material which I drilled and tapped for 1/4" 20 thread and drilled 2, 1/4" holes in the rain gutter then ran the bolts up from bottom into the mounts the fit into the trough of the rain gutter. Makes putting the awning up a little harder but it has stayed put.
