I read over the spec sheets, and with the solvents in this stuff (acetone for one) you don't want to use it on a painted surface. It recommends roughing up surfaces with 150 grit carbide paper as well, and that's pretty rough. It also breaks down with human body oils, so it seems to be best for metal that won't be handled. Soap and detergents also wipe it out.

So, what do you want to use it for?
