Dick,
   I should have looked at your link to the pics before replying. The
hole is right at the bend, which would preclude a straight union, but
maybe you could use or cobble together a 90 degree union.  This is a
plastic line right?  The line could be recreated in
copper-nickel-ferrous brake line with solder-on banjo ends.  I can do
this if you're interested.  I made a replacement power steering line for
my '87 Westy recently.  Works great and will outlast the van.  I also
recently replaced every brake line, hose and fitting on this same van,
from master cylinder to all four brakes;
