True, but that is not what is happening with Rock Auto. If anything some times their shipping charges seem TOO LOW. Other times too high. Much of what they sell is coming directly from some other parts house and those sources have input on the shipping more than RockAuto does. If you order a bunch of different items you often find separate shipping costs listed for 2 or 3 sources itemized in the total, with the parts labeled as to which sources package they will each be part of. I use this info to delete items that are from a different shipper with a separate higher shipping cost than the parts I need most. In addition I have had good and bad experiences with RA for various other reasons and I don't deal with them very much because of the uncertainties. For Vanagon parts one of the list venders is the way to go 90% of the time. Mark
