I really don't see the sense or value to use the NC relay to connect the
power socket wire. Also, since using just a 10 amp fuse why even bother with
the relay for the lamp? This can get really difficult to explain for most
circuits vehicles, home, industry, whatever switches are used to control the
"ungrounded" side. There are number of reasons why but to start adding
ground controlled circuits later becomes a troubleshooting nightmare
especially as more stuff gets added. Think the KISS principle. (Keep it
stupid simple).

My apologies. My "engine off" comment was wrong. This relay is controlled
via a switched ground connection at dash so I can use it engine off,
transmission in any gear.
Just spent some quality time making a diagram with new software. This is
accurate as I can make it look (i.e. wire join position). Please advise if
you see a fault:

In case links don't work, the 5 pin relay mounted forward of the p-side tail
light is switched at dash (ground) and turns on a new back up light. Dash
switch off, relay switch is closed to 87a so thought I'd put the 87a wire to
good use. The 87a + circuit will power things like trouble light, compressor
etc. Outlet will be here:

The downside is that when back up light on, I can't use the new 12 Volt
outlet. But that's easy to work around.
Hope that's clear as mud!
Neil.
