Its true that darker colors will make it feel smaller inside,but they do hide stains better. I love the wood grain cabinets, mine are the blah beige color. Do they have a similar pattern in a lighter color?? I went shopping with mom @ Hancock fabrics and found some nice material to replace my old saggy,torn,moldy looking and smelling curtains. Mom sewed them up as a Christmas present for Velma!
