(sigh) Rumors say as few as 11 up to 20 examples were made. Christoph has copies of the marketing brochures in vwpix.org. 88 Carrera engine & trans, brakes, wheels, seats, instruments, etc. technically a Porsche, I suppose. There's one in VW's museum. Since VW now owns Porsche, it's now a VW.:-)
