Hoses, crack and deteriorate from the inside out. And should be replaced every 2 to 3 years! They will look great on the outside, and be cracked to pieces on the inside. At the very least I would remove one end and inspect, pinch while off and look for cracks on the inside. Check the water pump shaft for "play" and the weep hole for leakage, replace if needed. Replace any belts with cracks, about the same as the hoses. Save the old belts and hoses for carry in tool box for spars! Good luck!
