With staples I'd remove the top and attach the canvas from a standing position while it's on sawhorses! You can clean the fuzz with bleach and even paint it while you are at it. Stuart, did that last year. -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of neil n Sent: Monday, March 04, 2013 8:37 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Canvas Replacement: Remove Upper Bed Help? Hi all Bentley says that for my '81, the closet and upper storage need to be removed before upper bed can come out. That in itself doesn't doesn't seem like a lot of work especially since I don't have AC. Will removing the upper bed make canvas replacement, top still installed, any easier? My canvas has the staples. Neil.
