I actually prefer full width nuts. The trick is to find them in the fine thread.

feel a bit silly asking this question. but are the lock nuts on the tie rod ends special 'jamb nuts' or just a regular run of the mill 14x1.5 nut? They look a little skinnier than a regular 14mm nut. I trashed my old ones and was hoping my tie rod ends would come with one but they did not so no I need to source them. If they are something special does anyone have a part number?
