Thanks to all of you for your responses. I had no idea that this mod would be so expensive! In the end, I went ahead and ordered 6, 245/75/16s and crossed my fingers. I had tested this size before, but without the side grippers, so I had them test fit the rear ps and the slider cleared.....so I gave them the go ahead. BTW this Syncro is not stock. All drive train parts are aftermarket, with 930s, fat axles, Burley 16" trailing arms, adjustable front and rear suspension a la Abercrombie....actually, everything down there is new, with the exception of the SVX and the rebuilt tranny...... Amazingly, these tires are only slightly noisier than my all terrain Toyos. They are Cooper STT Discoverers and they are maybe a little more aggressive than I expected. Pictures to come after din din....... Thanks again! Miguel
