My apologies folks for all these emails but.....

My suspicions on wiring damage were very likely wrong. I think David was right.

Some marks on wire casing caused by me due to an attempt to add
venting to Dometic fridge some years ago. It's possible I damaged the
casing by pulling on the wire. (bad technique!)

Now back to your regular programming ......    ;^)
