Tell them NOTHING. This is where you keep your mouth shut and I've learned to do that as a 3rd generation native Kalifornian. I have been running a 2.1 in my 84 Westy Ole Putt since 1997 in Kalifornia, always passed with the 1.9 Digijet and emissions.
