The crossover pipe is secured to the body? I didn't see that on my '81 but then maybe someone removed it? Is this screw & hook something specific to certain models or model years? Don: if you have the larger OD fill pipe, make and alignment marks if possible, of how it all goes together. The hole in frame is not much bigger than the pipe.
