Timmy, what year Westy do you have? I have found that early Westies the foam in the seat just evaporates over time. It just goes away. I have a nice set of Westy seats in my attic with good material on them, not worn at all, but you are sitting on seat springs because the foam is gone. So maybe that is the problem? In that case either getting new foam for your seat or getting a newer seat from a parts van would fix the issue.

I am not going to comment further. Got into big trouble last week talking about seats :-)
