On batteryalliance.com selecting JCI (Johnston Controls Inc), then "RV", "Automotive", or "Golf Cart" shows either:

AVAILABLE BRANDS: Black Box / Alliance Brand

or

AVAILABLE BRANDS: Black Box/ Alliance Label

Maybe the "Alliance..." variations are similar to a VW parts box labelled "Germany" but the part could be made anywhere.

Who knows who made it? JCI could simply be a middle man of sorts.

For the price, if it cacks out early, I'll get something back for it.
