The crossover pipe is secured to the body?

I didn't see that on my '81 but then maybe someone removed it? Is this screw & hook something specific to certain models or model years?

Don: if you have the larger OD fill pipe, make and alignment marks if possible, of how it all goes together. The hole in frame is not much bigger than the pipe. If misaligned, the big seal between fill pipe and tank can fail. BTDT:
