So far, the wheel will cost about $250 minimum to replace. It was destroyed. I was traveling 65mph when it came off. A large truck passed the other way .... likely just lifted that puppy right into full flight. The tire alone is $80, brake rotor, rest of wheel will be minimum $200, to include rim, spokes, nipples, and hub. Yummy.... You're right. I visit my family and friends in CO, ski, go to museums, out to brunch/dinner, etc. Then hit the road. This time went directlly to Sedona and spent a week, camping and biking. Then it snowed there sp N to Moab where I had a really nice run of good weather. It is much easier no accommodating "others" in that space, especially on a longish road trip like that. I come and go as I please, my own spontaneous schedule. Nice time in Moab with old friends. Went to the Banff Film Festival: http://www.banffcentre.ca/mountainfestival/worldtour/ Many GREAT films, but the event of the night was of Alex Honnold. Absolutely spider man. Bob |
