Neil,

A question on foam density (although I think this has been answered in the archives, by Jonce?) - how did you arrive at the firmness level? You said something about "sitting firmness", right?

And will you get some of the same foam for rest of bed (and cover that too)?

The braces that I have a hazy memory of are triangular bent bits. If you had them then I'd guess you would have seen them or at least seen holes for the bolts.

Now don't take this as a criticism, and god knows how easy it is to comment on what could have been, but did you consider sewing up a 2 tone cover? ie a different material in wide stripe, sort of where you sit.

I've been talking to my wife about this idea, discussion heads into "french seams" and other arcane (to me) sewing terms.
