not prcisely what you are asking for , and this page is loaded with various Vanagon CV joint articles - < searched 'flipping vanagon axles to rotate CV joints' >

https://www.google.com/search?q=flipping+vanagon+axles+to+rotate+CV+joints&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a

One listing hasthis text - ( Rennlist, 6th one down the list ) ) "To /flip/ the CVs without removing them from the /axle/, you just swap sides. *...*< that > way they're on the proper position (i.e., wheel or tranny) and are /rotating/ in the opposite direction."

I like that one ...says just move the from one side to the other without turning them end for end .. What I also like about that is it moves the outer CV joints inboard. I find more wear in the inners commonly, due to running hotter by the trans I believe.

first thing I do is mark on each axle while it's still on the van which side it is, and which way it has been rotating going forward.
