In all reality, they've gone up. I would placing a running, driving, inspected syncro at $5000 minimum, closer to $7000 if it has less rust/dents. Occassionally a few slip through cheaper than that, but anything under $3K is being bought up for parts and conversions, so intact syncros value has climbed. Yes, plenty of people get $1000 syncros, but it's not the norm. Check Thesamba.com. You'll confim this. There are hard top syncros listed for $20,000! -Craig
