I was going to write in a similar vein, except that to me "real" camping
was hiking during the day and at evening pitching camp to relax.
Times change and so do our likes and needs. I've got little kids now I'm
not hiking 15-20miles a day anymore. I'm just happy that they love the
outdoors too and want to spend talk with dad walking around.
What's important is that want to get back out to nature. Just some
people need to have a hot shower at the end of the day.
Shrug.
