When working on the engine, especially if parked in certain spot on inclined driveway, I was inclined to bump my head on this corner. This part being on an '81 Westy. If not wearing my toque (aka beanie, cap), this edge could draw blood.

Double sided carpet tape and some thick close cell foam seem to be sticking well. We'll see what the hotter ambient temps do to this. Still. Far better. Thinking again, I guess one could shape this corner (round it out) but the foam is nice and soft.
