wow..170% is a lot. meant 70 % . if it inspires people to notice their shift linkage is stiff, and could benefit from some lube.. that's the main idea. Things change slowly . people don't notice it, they don't drive other vans to compare with .. and so on. there are tons or unnecessarily neglected items on vanagons .. and ones not even needing any money spent on parts etc.

I'm sure readers on these lists are better than about this than non-list vanagon owners. S.
