Like it or not, Syncros prices have jumped way up in the last 5 years. Thrashed broken down ones are often priced above $4000. Heck, just a working tranny from one can easily sell for $3000, just a stock used bare tranny with locker. Basically the Syncro tranny and awd parts alone are worth $4000+, with no engine at all and a rusted out or totaled body. There are enough people now using Syncros with dead bodies to transplant the Syncro capability to what was a 2wd Westy that it puts a high floor under dead Syncro prices. And lets the Syncro spirit live on inside a fresher shell.
