Wow ..acid neutralizing battery mat. Impressive.

I just use a thin piece of rubber mat, the thinner the better. I never have any problem with moisture getting into the battery box .

I just treat existing rust, then spray ZeroRust paint on the treated areas .. put in a small minimalist thin rubber mat .. and never have to think about it again.

if you have a westy with a vented battery compartment .. might check if moisture is getting in through that system, I've never had a problem though. ( or that battery is being overcharged ).
